Hello Alumni, I hope everything is well as you are reading this letter. To get things started, in this brief issue of our newsletter, we will be covering general information, chapter updates, recent alumni additions, and much more. To begin, we have had a very enjoyable year at the Zeta Phi Chapter. With our previous executive council’s hard work we were able to get off of general social probation with the university, which lead to a great year of spring socials and a formal that planned by Jake Harmier. Along with this we also continued our chapters work with PUSH America in as many ways as possible. Some of these ways include our PUSH park / bowling days every Wednesday when a multitude of brothers would attend an event and assist in activities such as bowling with the kids at respite care. Along with this we again successfully put on Spread the Word to End the Word this spring semester. We teamed with Special Olympics and had people on the plaza for 24 hours collecting signatures and spreading awareness. Patrick Sullivan held the most impressive fundraising event of the year. Pat spent an incredible amount of time planning a local 5k race here in Fort Collins and raised awareness as well as over $ 2,000. Our most recently initiated pledge class; Alpha Kappa also raised roughly $500 this semester for PUSH America. Alpha Kappa was a 10 man initiate class, and have continued to excel and we hope to continue to see nothing but good things from this group of leaders. The House at 1300 Baystone still remains in immaculate condition since the renovations. Along with this, we continue to enjoy the newly renovated dinning area as well as study room. Recently the current tenants of the house moved out, but the house will once again be filled in the fall semester. We will be holding another Regional Ride with the Boulder chapter again this fall. When more details are available we will provide them if you should wish to attend!
