ACONCAGUA FAB LAB

Aconcagua Fab Lab is a mobile digital fabrication laboratory whose purpose is the connection and technology transfer between academia and the community, training entrepreneurs and artisans of the V Region, as well as stimulating strategic partnerships between different local developers.

In 2015 I participated as Coordinator of training strategies, in charge of the creation and production of training workshops for technology transfer, management of field trips and funding administration. During 2018 I was an Instructor in design with a focus on new technologies and applications in Non-Conventional Renewable Energies (NCRE).

Project funded by the Innovation Fund for Competitiveness (FIC) of the Regional Government of Valparaiso and the Regional Government of Atacama, Chile. In 2016, it received recognition as a Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Design from the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Chile.

M Interactive Toys

2016-2017

Founding partner and Director of Technology Development at Mü Interactive Toys, a company focused on the development of toys and tools for children’s development.

Our first development is Mü Therapy, a multi-faceted interface for children between 3 and 10 years old that works as an interactive musical toy, and at the same time is an evaluation tool that supports the work of professionals in the child development field by capturing data.

Mü was supported by the incubation programme of the Fab Lab of the University of Chile and was also funded twice by the Chilean Government’s Production Development Corporation (CORFO) and its Start-up Chile platform focused on high-impact technological ventures, in 2016 through The S Factory programme and in 2017 through the Seed programme, our project won 3rd place in the internal competition for projects led by women.
