Her b w alk (by donation £ 5-7) Course: Looking at plants using th e Goeth ean Scientific Methodology can give one an insight into their “meaning”, their role in the landscape and their healing properties within human beings and animals. At the same time the study will help to develop perceptive faculties within the student of nature. In this course we will be exploring the living relationship between plants and people in Pishwanton’s landscape, find healing properties of the plants and learn how to process them to create simple medicines. We would like to start with a Herb Walk on Friday evening, we will appreciate any donations (from £ 5 to 7) .
Teachers: W ith Mar gar et Colquhoun co -founder of the Pishwanton Project where she teaches Goethean Science and Maureen Robertson MSc MNIMH. Maureen founded the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine with Keith in 1992 and pioneered the introduction to Herbal Medicine research of the Phenomenological, Holistic Research method of Goethean Science. Moving to the Isle of Arran in 2001 they now run Drimlabarra Herb Farm where her herbal apprenticeship programme & many workshops are run.
