Plans A contradiction between the public and the private in the role of the director. He has to be accessible but also needs to keep a certain mystique. (As you walk past the office the wall guides you to a fake entrance where you actually intrude into the space but can’t see past the two blocks) He is a public person who needs to appeal and be inviting to the AA community but has to take desision about the school that can’t always be disclosed. (At the tip of that fake entrance a long cut in the wall gives you a view only to the outside, you are not closer to seeing what is happening behind these walls) He is the face of the school thus needs to control the outflow of information, Choosing what to show. (A window in the facade gives a controlled view into the office, only when the director chooses to be seen, he will be) The voting process, a contradiction between the popularity requiered and the job at hand.
