Make a gift to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra’s Annual Fund Thank you for your support of the Pittsburgh Symphony’s Annual Fund. Even with very generous underwriting, ticket sales cover less than 50% of what it costs for the Pittsburgh Symphony to perform for you at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Additionally, the Symphony performs a free annual education concert for area fourth graders at the Cathedral and provides free tickets, underwritten by local foundations, for children and students to attend the evening performances you all love. Please consider supporting the Pittsburgh Symphony and our concert series at Scottish Rite Cathedral by making an Annual Fund gift with your season ticket purchase.

Haydn Symphony No. 93 in D Major
Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 6, Pathétique Music Director Manfred Honeck leads the Pittsburgh Symphony in Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, Pathétique, which was recorded in the 2014-2015 season for future release. The orchestra also will perform Haydn’s Symphony No. 93 in D major, the first of the 12 “London” symphonies he wrote during a two-year period in the English capital. The remaining piece on the program will be a surprise just for the New Castle audience!
