Lloyd Yates Lloyd Yates serves as NiSource President and Chief Executive Officer and has been in this role since February 14, 2022. He is also a member of the NiSource Board of Directors and served on the NiSource Board as an independent Director from 2020 – 2022. Lloyd previously held senior roles at Duke Energy Corporation, including Executive Vice President, Customer and Delivery Operations, and President, Carolinas Region. He was responsible for aligning customer focused products and services to deliver a personalized end-to-end customer experience to position Duke Energy for long term growth, as well as for the profit/loss, strategic direction, and performance of Duke Energy’s regulated utilities in North Carolina and South Carolina.

Previously, Lloyd served as Executive Vice President of Regulated Utilities at Duke Energy, overseeing Duke Energy’s utility operations in six states, federal government affairs, and environmental and energy policy at the state and federal levels, as well as Executive Vice President, Customer Operations, where he led the transmission, distribution, customer services, gas operations and grid modernization functions for millions of utility customers. Earlier in his career, he held several line and management positions with PECO Energy before serving at Progress Energy in various senior roles. Lloyd earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and MBA from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He attended the Advanced Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and the Executive Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Currently, Lloyd serves on the Board of Directors of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc.

Andrew Tavakoli Andrew Tavakoli is the Principal and CEO of Tavaco Properties, the holding company for a portfolio of commercial real estate nationwide. Andrew started in commercial real estate after graduating from University of Southern California and has been an investor in commercial real estate for over 30 years. Andrew earned his BSEE degree in computer science from University of Pittsburgh in 1981, his MBA in marketing from CSULB in 1983, and his MSBA in finance from USC in 1986. Andrew has acquired and repositioned several private companies including the acquisition of Hamburger Hamlet national restaurant chain in 2004, which employed over 1,400 employees, and successfully sold the company in 2009. He currently holds investment positions in dozens of private companies under the umbrella of Tavaco Capital Management, a private equity firm. Appointed by President Biden, Andrew serves on the President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts and is a board member of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the National Cultural Center. He serves on the USC Marshall School of Business Board of Leaders. He is the Chair of Development Committee as a board member of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council (LAWAC), a major civic organization on the West Coast. Andrew serves as a board member of the Cedars Sinai Medical Center, the largest medical center in Southern California. As a philanthropist, he supports several other charitable organizations.

Gargani John Gargani received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with petroleum specialization from the University of Pittsburgh in 1986, and since then has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Prior to retiring in 2017, John held various vice president positions at Southwestern Energy Company in Houston, Texas including Economic Planning & Acquisitions; Midstream Services; Human Resources; and Strategy, Performance & Innovation as well as other management roles within the company.

Robert O. Agbede Robert O. Agbede is the Chairman and CEO of Chester Group Inc., a holding company for technology, engineering, and energy related investments and the former CEO and owner of Chester Engineers, which was, prior to its merger with Hatch Associates in 2017, the largest African American–owned engineering, water/wastewater treatment, energy, and environmental engineering firm in the United States. Robert is also the Chairman and CEO of Chester LNG, LLC, a subsidiary of the Chester Group, which designs and owns several intellectual properties on micro-LNG systems for use as virtual pipelines to deliver natural gas to remote locations or as standalones for off the grid power generation or fueling.

Robert was also the former Vice Chairman of Hatch USA, a global engineering and business consulting company, and was a founder and co-owner of Orbital Solutions,
Mr. Agbede is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Pittsburgh and is the Chairman of the Swanson School of Engineering Board of Visitors.
Previous board memberships include the Allegheny Conference on Community Development (15 years); National Coal Council, a Federal Advisory Council to the Secretary of Energy (20+ years); the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland/Pittsburgh Branch, where he later served as Chairman of the Board of the Pittsburgh branch; and UPMC. In 2000, he was inducted into the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering Hall of Fame.

Mark Tressler Mark Tressler graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1971 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, and later in life would retire after a remarkable 37-year global career with Exxon Mobil.

David K. Bucklew Dave Bucklew retired as Senior Vice President of North America Sales for Eaton’s Electrical Sector in 2018, based at the Electrical Sector’s US Headquarter in Pittsburgh, PA. Eaton is one of the electrical industries largest manufacturers with North America sales over $7 billion. Dave attended the University of Pittsburgh from 1976 to 1980 and graduated with a BS in Industrial Engineering. He was a member of the 1976 National Champion Football team coached by Johnny Majors, and later played under Jackie Sherrill.
Upon Eaton’s acquisition of Cooper Industries in 2012, Dave led an integration team tasked with formulating Eaton’s commercial frontend organization and strategy leveraging the collective size and strength of the two industry giants. He was then appointed to oversee the combined sales and support organization with over 2000 employees and 100 manufacturer rep firms.
