In 2019 Town played Chesterfield in our debut season in the National League and won 1-0 courtesy an own goal. The crowd of 4,661 was our largest away league crowd to date until we played at Leyton Orient in the April. FEBRUARY

In 2001 an NPL Division One game at home to Chorley resulted in a 3-0 victory with goals from Steve Underwood, Eamonn Elliott and Andy Shelton. FEBRUARY

In 2001 in a Northern Premier League Division One game, Town thrashed Congelton Town 5-0 at home, thanks to goals from Nicky Hey, Lee Murphy, Eamonn Elliott and Iain Dunn (2) in front of 177 fans and new Chairman Bill Fotherby. FEBRUARY

Towns’ Steven Underwood challenges for the ball
In 1999 in another Northern Premier League game, Town entertained league leaders Hucknall Town (two points clear with three games in hand) and won 1-0 courtesy of an amazing Martin Regan scissor-kick goal in front of 298 spectators. It was the fourth in a run of five successive victories for Town. FEBRUARY

In 1950 Town drew 4-4 at home to Rothwell Athletic in West Yorkshire League Division One with goals from Stan Whincup (3) and Alan Smith. Town gave away a 4-0 lead in this match and it was the third in a run of five games undefeated.

In 1984 a Northern Counties Stewart Ferebee East League Division One (North) game at North Ferriby United resulted in a 4-0 win with goals from Alan Everitt, Paul Williamson, Stewart Ferebee and John Deacey.

In 2014 Town drew 2-2 against Brackley Town in the Conference North with goals from Adam Nowakowski and Dominic Rowe extending Town’s unbeaten run to eight games.
