ALTERNATIVE MATERIALS


 High resistance to scratching and impact, suitable for commercial utilizations, anti-vandalism (hpl thickness 0.9 mm) 

Resistant to dampness and Anti-Stain (non porous surface)

 Very low formaldehyde emissions; also act as a barrier against emissions from the substrates 

Resistant to bacterium: HPL is approved for contact with food stuff

 Wide range of colors and decors, with no restrictions and no minimum quantities  Reaction to fire: C-S2-D0 (class 1) - Parqwall FR B-S2-D0 (class 0); Laminates are difficult to ignite and have properties that retard "spread of flame", thus prolonging evacuating time.  No maintenance: as PRINT HPL do not suffer from corrosion and oxidation, they do not need any further surface protection (like lacquers or paints).

The sounds that reach our ears must be understood so they need to reach us properly. An environment so that have "good acoustics" and a reverberation time properly, you need that sound reflections are shared equally in the architectural volume.

Coeso- ceiling in laminated HPL consists of concave diffusing elements. Elegant and refined furniture components provide to designers a complete system of acoustic solutions.

Therefore the geometry of an environment plays an important role, because it is precisely because of the size of the room, the materials used (acousticreflective), their availability compared to the sound source and the listeners, the reverberation of sound, the appropriate inclinations of both the room and the sound thrust panels that you can get a "good listening" and avoid further areas of echo and silence, due to noise shadows. Reverberation is the persistence of sound within a space, after its complete depletion, and is caused by reflections on the surfaces that surround the room.

To produce MEG Compact laminate are select the best decorative papers solid color , woodgrain or fancy design, from the most important Decor Paper producers. These papers are made utilizing color pigments with the highest lightfastness to grant high resistance to UV ray avoiding color fading or change over time with exposure.

To avoid the light-fading , Abet protect the MEG Compact with a special PVDF film to preserve for years the colours of Exterior Grade Material (es: balcony and faรงade).

If the pigment is not high lightfastness the bonds between the atoms (es. CH2=CH2) are broken due to light photons energy, the electrons movements between the atoms are stopped and the color disappear in few days or some years depending the pigment lightfastness.

The colors we see depend from the electrons movements inside the pigments molecules . When sun light fight an electron it jump from one atoms orbital to an other (E1-->E2 ; E1-->E3) The electron absorb some wave length energy (es: green) and reflect to our eyes the color complementary (es: red) emitting its wave length returning in E1 position (E2--> E1).
