The regeneration is bringing a fresh vitality to the town centre, with the introduction of new shops, offices, cafes and restaurants. Other new arrivals include an arts and cultural centre, a secondary school and expanded primary school. All helping to create a thriving new community. Move to Woolmer Copse, and you’ll also benefit from Whitehill & Bordon’s status as an NHS England Healthy New Town — which means it provides the facilities and services to support healthy, active lives. Whitehill & Bordon is well connected by road to the region’s commuter destinations, and a new relief road will make travelling even easier. For example, on the A31, the M3 at Winchester is only about 20 miles away, and it’s a similar distance to the A3 at Guildford. You’re within 50 miles of London, and near to the south coast cities of Portsmouth, Southampton and Chichester. And the town sits on the edge of the beautiful South Downs National Park, a huge expanse of hills, woods and rivers, stretching from Winchester to Eastbourne. Public transport includes bus and coach services to Basingstoke, Alton, Liphook, Haslemere, Farnham, Aldershot and Portsmouth. You also have a choice of local railway stations, all giving you easy access to London Waterloo. Bentley and Liphook are each just five miles away, while Liss is around six miles and Alton about seven miles.
International travel is also very straightforward from here — both Heathrow and Southampton airports are within 40 miles. You’ll find it very easy and pleasant to get around the immediate area, too — on foot or by bike. A Green Loop and Green Grid are being developed throughout Whitehill & Bordon, for walking and cycling to work, school or the shops — or simply for pleasure. The Green Loop is a circuit of the town, around seven miles long, and passing through Hogmoor Inclosure, Bordon Inclosure and the Deadwater Valley Local Nature Reserve. The Green Grid will cross the town, making it easier to get to the town centre, leisure facilities and schools.
The right developer
ZeroC is well known for building high-quality homes and developments designed for all aspects of modern living.
—
We have, for a long time, been at the forefront of sustainable, low-carbon design and construction. Our aim is to build aspirational new homes and inspirational new places that are efficient and cost-effective to live in. Homes that respect both the environment and the people who live in them. Our approach is design-led. We care about the quality of architecture, generous, well-designed interior spaces, the visual interest and impact of our developments, and the quality of their infrastructure and public spaces.
We work across the UK and are expert in creating new communities for significant public and private sector landowners, including the Homes and Communities Agency, the Duchy of Cornwall, and some of Britain’s largest and most innovative individual landowners. We are noted for listening, understanding, and tuning in to what’s needed — and then creating it attractively and sustainably. Our developments share a strong sense of place and quality beyond the ordinary, which has helped us win many major building awards. We do our best to do it right.
