The research methods include an anonymous online questionnaire for anyone aged 13 years and over wishing to have a say about the Paceville area and the Plan of Development for this area. The anonymous questionnaire in English and further information may be accessed here.

Sports PLANNING AUTHORITY TEAM PROMOTED TO THE SECOND DIVISION IN MESA LEAGUE The Planning Authority’s football team has been promoted to the Second Division of the MESA Football League after a successful string of results. Although the Authority kicked off the season with a loss against the Central Bank, it managed to recuperate and win the following three matches against Mater Dei, San Vincenz De Paul Residence and HSBC. Spatial Development EU PRESIDENCY MEETING ON URBAN DEVELOPMENT Last week the Planning Authority, on behalf of the Office of the Prime Minister and in cooperation with the EU Presidency Unit, hosted its first EU Presidency meeting at the Radisson Blu Resort in St. Julians – the EU Urban Development Group. This is an informal EU experts group which prepares for the meetings of the Directors-General in charge of Urban Development, which will also be held in Malta in April. Read More

Protecting Buildings and Monuments in Valletta THE OLD SLAUGHTERHOUSE Grand Master Jean Lascaris Castellar (1636-1657) built eight magazines at Triq San Kristofru, four on each side of the road leading to Jews Sally Port. An order was issued stating that all butchering should be done near the old fountain of Valletta. Read More
