PERIT CASSAR ADDRESSES ARCHITECTURAL POLICIES CONFERENCE - A LEAP IN QUALITY OF ARCHITECTURE

The Planning Board Chairperson, Perit Vincent Cassar, recently addressed the Architectural Policies Conference which was held in Malta as part of the EU Presidency. Addressing the forum, Perit Cassar, said that over the years a number of initiatives have been taken at EU level towards achieving quality design and architecture in the built environment. Read More

Protecting Buildings and Monuments in Valletta ST. ROQUE CHURCH

St. Roque Church at Triq Sant’ Ursula was designed by the architect Mederico Blondel des Croisettes (a French military engineer & architect) as a centrally planned church with a dome over the crossing, having an apsed altar flanked by narrow sacristies, and two shallow transepts flanking the domed space.
