MORE ENFORCMENT CASES CLOSED OFF BY OWNERS Over the past days, enforcement officers within the Planning Authority have managed to close off, through persuasion, a number of cases where development was carried out without the necessary permission. MORE PLANNING AUTHORITY EMPLOYEES TO BENEFIT FROM OVERSEAS EXPERIENCES

A number of Planning Authority employees will soon start to benefit from overseas experience, after the Authority was successfully selected to participate in an Erasmus Mobility Project. This mobility project will offer job-shadowing placements, for a two-week period, in Spain, the Netherlands, United Kingdom and Ireland. Read More

Protecting Buildings and Monuments in Valletta THE STATUE OF QUEEN VICTORIA

The marble statue of Queen Victoria portrays her sitting in an imperial commanding stance, with her robe falling onto a square pedestal supporting the sculpture. The queen is depicted in a sitting position on a throne, dressed in a shawl which was given to her as a gift by the Maltese and which was actually in black Gozitan lace. Read More
