Public Consultation SITE AT TAC-CNUS, XEWKIJA (GOZO) The Planning Authority has been requested by Government to initiate a partial local plan review of the Gozo and Comino Local Plan (2006) for Xewkija, site at Tac-Cnus. The Planning Authority is publishing, for public consultation, the proposed objective which will guide the formulation of this review. The proposed objective is: To amend the alignment of Triq San Pawl in Xewkija (Gozo). Read More
Statistics
DWELLINGS APPROVED 2016 During the month of October, there was an increase in the number of approved dwellings over the previous years. The Planning Authority approved 849 new apartments, 87 maisonettes and 25 terraced houses. Also during the month of October, statistics show a significant increase in the number of validated development planning applications, over the corresponding period of the previous year. Read more
Heritage Planning THE HISTORY OF TELEPHONE AND PILLAR BOXES IN MALTA The postal service in Malta was already established during the period when the Islands were under the rule of the Order of St. John.
