Last week, PA employees and management donated over €1500 to the Missionaries of Charity. The funds were collected during a hot dog and dress down day activity. The Missionaries of Charity is a religious congregation established in 1950 by St. Mother Teresa. They provide free service to people regardless of their religion or social status.
Protecting buildings and monuments in Valletta THE QUARANTINE HOSPITAL AND BARRIERA The origin of Valletta's quarantine "complex" is not clear. It originally included the little chapel of the Madonna degli Infetti, which later ceased to be used for divine worship.
