JUNCTION AREA BETWEEN MARSA AND PAOLA SET FOR MAJOR UPGRADING ROAD WORKS The Planning Board granted planning permission for major upgrading road works to be carried in the junction area between Marsa and Paola which is synonymous with heavy daily traffic congestion. The approved project which will also aim to ensure safer road design in accordance with international standards and provide better accessibility throughout the TEN-T network, will cover an area of approximately 25,000 square metres. NEO CLASSIC PUBLIC BUILDING IN ZEJTUN AND QALA PARISH BELFRY TO UNDERGO RESTORATION WORKS

The Planning Commission approved planning permission for two restoration projects to go ahead, one involves the neo classical style building which houses the Zejtun Police Station and another pertains to the west belfry of the Qala Parish Church. Read More

NEW VISITORS CAR PARK AT THE PLANNING AUTHORITY

This new car park facility, which has increased the number of reserved parkings spaces for customers from 14 to 32, is part of a holistic plan to keep enhancing and upgrading the service experience we offer our customers. As it has done over the past months, the Authority will continue to roll out new improvements and upgraded services to ensure that we supercede our customer's expectations.

Protecting Buildings and Monuments in Valletta MANOEL THEATRE The Manoel Theatre was built in 1731 by Grand Master Manoel de Vilhena on the plans of Francois de Mondion. At around 1783, the Manoel Theatre underwent considerable modifications and decorations under Romano Carapecchia. Read More
