LAMMA REVIEW:

LAMMA, the UK’s premier farm machinery show, returned in 2023 to the NEC Birmingham on 10th and 11th January.

LAMMA is always a highly anticipated event for the industry, connecting farmers from all sectors with companies providing cutting-edge machinery, technology, and equipment.

And this year’s LAMMA certainly did not disappoint! The 2023 event spanned a massive 11 halls of the NEC Brimingham, and welcomed approximately 34,000 people through the doors. Over 600 exhibitors showcased their latest innovations including Bobcat, Merlo, Engcon, Fendt, Fogmaker, FAST – Fuel Additive Science Technologies, Hitachi Construction Machinery, Hydrotechnik UK, Kirkby Tyres, Kramp UK, Kubota UK, Manitou UK, Milwaukee Tool UK, SMT Volvo, Morris Lubricants, National Farmers Union, Rototilt, Terra Tech, Topcon Technology and many more! →

Bobcat had several new products lined up on their stand at LAMMA 2023. The CT2535 compact tractor was shown for first time in the UK at LAMMA 2023, as well as the brand new super-compact TL25.60 R-series telehandler and the new MT100 mini track loader.

Celebrating their 30th anniversary at the show, Merlo’s stand featured an impressive line-up of machinery, including the debut of the largest model in the Multifarmer range, the new Multifarmer 44.9. Also on display was the P27.6 compact telehandler; the TF33.7 and TF42.7 Turbofarmer; the first fully-electric telehandler - the eWorker; as well as the Cingo M700TD Hi-Tip and M12.3EVO Handler 400.

SMT Volvo used LAMMA 2023 as a platform to promote the ‘all-rounder in agriculture wheel loader range’ as well as electric machines to demonstrate how their machinery could ‘change the way business is done on the farm’. Their stand featured a line-up that included the L110H wheel loader, the ECR25 electric excavator - the first in a new range of electric compact excavators, and the EWR130E wheeled excavator.
