The construction industry continues to expand and develop worldwide after the effects of Covid 19. Infrastructure is the second largest sector of construction and is expected to be a potential catalyst behind the growth of the piling market.

This is due to the high demand of renovation and remodelling projects that are set to take place throughout 2023 opening a wealth of opportunities for the piling machinery market.

Piling equipment is being expanded and adapted by other big businesses. In 2022, Sany Group expanded its equipment range into the piling market. Sany launched its SR235 multi-purpose piling rig series into the UK market in April last year. The Piling Rig is powered by a Stage V TAD 1181VE Volvo engine and offers different modes with rotary large diameter piles, continuous flight auger, casing and low headroom options. The SR235M and SR285M multi-purpose rigs are the first in a series that will cover all aspects of augured, drilled, and driven piling and are looking to further expand with a smaller and lighter SR125 mode.

With such high continued growth in the market, there is increasing pressure to meet the industry’s new environmental standards.
