The struggles of life are no mystery to Viggio Acosta; a new artist out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Enduring the woes of street life and family issues made this young rapper desire something different in the world. Viggio grew up listening to Max Minelli, Young Bleed, Mystikal, Big Tymers, BG, Turk, Juvenile, Lil Wayne, Slim Thugga, Z­Ro, Pimp C, Bun B, Outkast­ Southern rappers; mostly Louisiana natives. With the increasing popularity of rap music during the early 2000s, his influences growing up were Yo Gotti, Gucci Mane, Maino, Birdman and most of all; Young Jeezy. Viggio salutes Young Jeezy because of his longevity in the game; but strongly influenced by the dedication of 2 Chainz, formerly known as Tity Boi.”He made me really want to Rap; made me think that it’s possible” says Viggio Acosta.
