Inclusion Programs
CARD's Inclusion Program is here to help everyone play! We work to ensure equal access to our recreation programs - such as classes, sports, swim lessons, camps, and more - to individuals in the community with special needs. Through our partnership with Far Northern Regional Center, we are able to offer 1:1 Inclusion Aides to assist program participants who benefit from a little extra support to succeed.
We are happy to work with those who have special needs to ensure equal access to our recreation programs!
Participants in need of reasonable accommodations must register for an activity or program and submit a completed Accommodation Request Form no later than four (4) weeks before the start date of an activity or program. Reasonable accommodations for qualified participants are determined by individual need, programmatic elements, and staff competencies. The Accomodation Request Form will be evaluated by CARD's Inclusion Team, and you will be contacted to determine next steps. If you have any questions, please contact the CARD Inclusion team and see our website for more details.
