MicroSociety is Coming to Oviedo MicroSociety is a national program that gives students the opportunity to build their own society within the school. This structure has been proven to improve academic achievement, attendance, behavior and attitude toward learning by challenging kids to discover who they are and where they fit in — all while making meaningful academic connections. Stenstrom Elementary in Oviedo will be the only school in Central Florida offering this learning model to its students starting in January 2022.
