CC HotspotEditor The graphics editor for professionals Manual editing
Fully automatic editing
CC HotspotEditor combines intuitive operation and highly efficient operational functions.
CC HotspotEditor+ quickly reduces even the largest “graphics mountain” to rubble. This graphics software processes, fully automatically, complete file structures based on pre-defined rules.
Whether pixel or vector graphics, using the hybrid graphics preparation software CC HotspotEditor, you get the most out of your graphics with the least effort. The vector mode lets you select and edit object groups easily and efficiently using random common properties. IIn pixel mode you can avail yourself of a powerful OCREngine, which instantly recognises your position numbers and article numbers and converts them into texts.
CC DataConverter
The sophisticated OCR-Engine really shows its worth when batch processing pixel graphics. On top of that, well-engineered functions such as upstream identification of position number circuits, reduce error rates to a minimum.
OCR with CC HotspotEditor
Automatic processing of mass data CC DataConverter reads structured parts lists with common file formats such as txt, xls or xml and processes these for CATALOGcreator. For that purpose, the parts lists columns are “mapped” in the CC DataConverter and allocated for subsequent use in the CATALOGcreator®. Data preparation using rules When creating a catalogue, it is also possible to process the read data automatically. Within that context, CC DataConverter uses a series of rules.
Using these rules you can, for instance, duplicate columns or add and replace values. Automated processing CC DataConverter can process mass data in no time and use them to generate a catalogue structure. This feature puts CC DataConverter at the heart of fully automatic catalogue creation.
CC ExportPDF Print ready printed catalogues in PDF-format Apart from excellent performance in creation, CC ExportPDF also offers additional advantages Automatic creation of substantial PDF documents
Automatic index generation
For instance, the CC ExportPDF module can automatically generate a nearly 600 page spare parts catalogue in PDF format including format changes, bookmarks, and index and multi-column contents within seconds. All this, simply on a commercial notebook.
The article data can be used to generate a multi-column index with automatically generated page numbers.
Individual format change Apart from standard formats such as DIN A4 or DIN A3, you can select any other portrait or landscape format based on individual templates. Using the CC ExportPDF module, the catalogue editor can flexibly switch between selected catalogue formats.
Horizontal or vertical text alignment Taking optimum reading directions into consideration, details can be clearly represented using horizontal or vertical text alignments. Duplex-Mode The CC ExportPDF module features an intelligent Duplex-Modus. It only adds pages when necessary – with or without page numbers or as a blank page with header and footer. Multilingual catalogs Creating multilingual catalogs is a breeze. By means of a language dependent user dictionary repeated texts such a copyright, author, validity, legend etc. are automatically displayed in the respective national language. In addition, there are language dependent wild-cards for missing graphics and ways to create multilingual documents. Optimising tables for articles and variants
Printed catalogue in PDF Format
Long texts or variants can, because of the table optimisation, be put out automatically as an additional line below, or above the article values. From a printing point of view this saves a lot of space and therefore paper.
Optimised PDF-documents
Flexible Layout
The PDF catalogue can be optimised for printing or electronic purposes, for instance, for email or downloads from the web.
The layout of PDF catalogues can be very flexible. The CC ExportPDF module distinguishes between various types of pages, such as cover page, contents page, drawing page etc. These pages have a tabular structure and can be designed independently. Moreover, it is possible to include your own fonts in the PDF catalogue.
For the printed version high-resolution graphics are used and no links or bookmarks are created. If the PDF is being generated for electronic use then bookmarks, contents, index and sub-assemblies are linked. However, file sizes are also optimised. Automatic graphic adjustment Without manual interference the drawings are automatically adjusted to the format selected on the drawing page.
Additional options in CC ExportPDF On top of that, CC ExportPDF has additional options such as the creation of multiple covers, thumbnails (preview images) and intelligent image repetition.

Flexible use The interactive spare parts catalogue is PHP and SQLbased. Owing to these technologies, the catalogue can quickly and easily be adjusted and extended to meet your requirements.
3-Step shopping cart
A catalogue for all formats An absolute necessity for a modern eETK-system is that the interactive catalogue is identical for all media and storage formats. Consequently, it is your own choice whether or not you want to make your catalogues available to users online or offline. As a result, individual adjustments have to be carried out only once. Your benefits at a glance • • Easy and fast identification of your spare parts Spare parts catalogue with 2D drawing
You can use the spare parts catalogue as an independent application or have it integrated in an existing portal system. User Administration CC Export Dynamic’s standard version already offers you user administration, by which you can protect your online catalogue using a password.
• • Intuitive use • • Flexible adjustment/extension • • Assignment of user privileges through user administration • • Cost reduction Convince yourself and visit: http://www.catalogcreator.de/demo
In addition, the user and group model allows allocation of catalogues/serial numbers to individual users and controlled display of the same when showing drawings (2D/3D types) and catalogue contents. Moreover, you can pre-define user data and withdraw user rights from the user. Obviously, CC ExportDynamic accesses existing authentication systems and related users/groups to minimise maintenance expenses.

CC ModuleElectric Integrate your electric projects in an electronic spare parts catalogue Fully automatic integration Your existing electro-CAD-system does not have to be changed for that purpose. CATALOGcreator’sŽ electric module exclusively uses standard export formats of eCAD systems for fully automatic generation of an electronic spare parts catalogue. That is the reason why electric parts are so easy to find and to order in an electronic spare parts catalogue.
Linking electric articles with a mechanical catalogue is optional. Search functions are automatically adjusted allowing, apart from ordinary searches, also searches for locations, circuits and EIS.
Based on user information circuit diagrams are automatically hot-spotted, i.e. allocated context sensitive areas (Hotspots). Individual pages are linked by circuit diagram paths. In addition, Equipment Identifying Symbols (EIS) and article or position numbers can be linked with the parts list.

CC ModuleDocuLink Integrate your descriptive documentation in an electronic spare parts catalogue Interactive linking of additional information The direct link between the manual and spare parts catalogue in a combined interface provides many advantages. If, for instance, the user has located a part in the eETK, he only needs to push a button to open up the related chapter in the manual and can read all the information about the part, such as specification sheets, security instructions, setting procedures or assembly instructions. On the other hand, a part listed in the manual can be linked to the eETK and you can immediately see what the parts looks like, its installation situation, and any available part-related information.
For instance, maintenance descriptions show all required wear and tear parts, fault descriptions include spare parts suggestions. These can then be transferred straight from the manual to the shopping cart. Bidirectional links of assemblies and components with corresponding links to manual chapters are automatically generated. The advantages of linking documentation and spare parts catalogues are enormous. Search efforts are significantly decreased, all information is immediately available. For instance, service technicians can easily locate the faulty part and at the same receive assembly and maintenance instructions without having to search various media.
