Time Bank
Have you heard about the Time Bank? It’s a way of swapping time and skills with other people and everyone can join. For example, people can exchange skills such as cake-baking, dog walking, DIY, bicycle repair or anything else that’s useful. Plymouth MIND
Plymouth MIND are running free Back to Work Employment Workshops to those who are affected by mental health challenges. They offer one to one support and help with creating CV’s and looking for jobs. If you find a job, check your benefits entitlements
If you get a job, remember to check what State Benefits you could get. You may still be entitled to Housing Benefit, Council Tax Support and a range of in-work benefits that you haven’t claimed before. Make sure that you get the right advice before starting the job. Talk to the Citizens Advice Bureau, Plymouth City Council, the Job Centre or Plymouth Community Homes.
