We are pleased to host a week of workshops, interactive sessions and competitions that allow for networking and the exchange of ideas. These sessions are open to any student interested in exploring how you can use your degree within the world of Arts & Humanities. These workshops are designed to help you:

Explore career options, hearing from inspirational graduates and professionals about their career journeys and their advice for success

Understand the wealth of transferable skills your degree equips you with and how this enhances your employability

Challenge yourself to develop and grow your professional network, explore new ideas and take part in new experiences such as the FLUX competition and the employer networking evening


Welcome to your Careers & Employability Service! The Careers & Employability Service delivers a range of support and activities across the year to help you develop your key employability skills, meet employers and explore the wide variety of career paths open to you. Our service includes:

Gallery Remember to check out the Creative CV competition entries that will be on display throughout the week outside the Careers & Employability Hub, RLB. There are over 40 entries to view. All CVs will be judged against three main criteria: creativity, presentation and content. A panel of judges including creative industry professionals will choose the three final winners. The winners will be announced at a prize-giving ceremony on Thursday 26 January during the ‘Exploring Your Future in Arts and Humanities’ Networking Evening, part of the Arts & Humanities Careers Week.
