Over 500 constituents benefit from Senator Binos’s medical outreach in Adamawa

The villagers of Kiri community and other neighbourhoods in Toungo local government area of Adamawa state have expressed gratitude to Senator Binos Dauda Yaroe for the free medical treatment accorded to them.

On Wednesday, the Kiri people played host to the wheel clinic where they were treated from all manner of diseases and ailments including surgeries.

In his remarks at the exercise,Vice Chairman of Tougo local government area, Hon. Julius

Kadama while monitoring the exercise said the intervention was undertaken at the right time when the economic realities are no longer hidden.

Hon,Kadama explained that the turnout by the constituents speaks volume on the acceptability of the programme by all which indicated the federal lawmaker is so dear to them due to his concerns at all times.

CBN restricts journalists from inspection of election materials, distribution in Jigawa

The team of journalists from different media organizations covering Jigawa state have been restricted at the gate of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) when the distribution of election materials was going on in the bank.

While speaking to the Journalists outside CBN gate after distribution, the state Electoral Commissioner, Professor Lawal Bashar said, the instructions was from CBN.

He explained that based on the instruction given by the CBN, Journalists are not allowed to enter and inspect the distribution and the evacuation of the materials which include the result sheets and other auxiliaries.

Fish out perpetrators of Zangon Kataf killing, Uba Sani tasks security operatives

The Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District and the State APC Gubernatorial Candidate, Senator Uba Sani has called on security agencies to move into action to fish out the perpetrators of attack on Zangon Kataf Community and the wanton destruction of innocent lives and property.

He stated this in a statement made available to the media in Kaduna yesterday.

The statement stated that such elements have no place in a decent society.

He added that the inability of security agencies to fashion effective strategies to degrade or decimate terrorists and bandits has rendered most of the communities desolate.

He expressed dismay that the full weight of the law is hardly brought to bear on criminal elements.

“Our people watch helplessly as criminal elements hold sway in many communities. This must not be allowed to continue.
