As you may recall in our March 2016 edition of the Newsletter we defined KPIs for the 2016-2020 period.

2020 IPLOCA HSE Statistics Report The bad news is that the number of fatalities is increasing. Seven fatal incidents on our worksites have been reported by IPLOCA members and we have not reached the 2020 IPLOCA target of zero fatalities. There is a positive shift in the near-misses reporting and we are pleased to announce that the target set for 2020 has been achieved. The HSE & CSR Committee advises IPLOCA members to adopt behavioural safety programmes which are considered the best practice in the industry. Significant efforts still need to be made to eliminate fatalities in the pipeline industry. Graphics also show a major increase of lost-time injuries and an increase in total recordable incident rates. The Committee highly recommends all IPLOCA members to focus on training and share industry
