It sets out the following objectives: - Attend the coordination in relationships between local authorities, make their achievements known to the public and strengthen partnership links among them. - Ensure the materialization of local democracy principles and decentralization strengthening. - Harmonise and foster the authorities’ position and participation in international events and international conferences and symposiums and reinforce the presence of Morocco in such international events and gatherings. - Find financial and material support at the national and international level to be used at the local level. - Review the communal regulations in force. - Represent the local authorities to the public authorities in all issues pertaining to Moroccan local affairs. - Cooperate with all governmental authorities and organization, international institutions or associations aiming at achieving the same goals. - Promote women participation in local management.
