Greetings from your Lieutenant Governor

Hello Sharks, It’s finally June, which means the end of the school year and the start of summer! Who’s excited?! I know that I am excited, since I have more time to serve the community while spending time with you all and my district board family. Summer is a time to relax and have fun, but don’t forget to keep on making a difference in our world. Through out the summer, I encourage you all to take part in Key Club events, such as: fundraisers, service projects, rallies, DCMs, and socials. May DCM Recap

The May DCM was a joint DCM with 7 other divisions: 22/24, 26, 27, 28, 32, 33, 35. Since the goal of $600 towards Project Eliminate was accomplished, the Lieutenant Governors were pied in the faces. Together we raised $654.23 towards


Club Updates Foss High School

May 10, The Fircrest Spring Event was hosted by our sponsoring Kiwanians and they helped serve at the concessions stand. May 17, participated in the March of Dimes. Members handed out flyers, guided runners, supervised the bounce house. May 24. Rite Aid on N. Pearl St. hosted a Relay for Life Car wash in which all of the donations went to the American Cancer Society. They raised over $200 dollars for the American Cancer Society. That adds to their fundraising total of over $700 to cancer research!

Gig Harbor High School May 24th, volunteered at the annual Street Scramble and helped children make stomp rockets. May 31st, helped Kiwanis’s adopted road at the street clean up.

Lincoln High School On May 29th, I had the chance to visit Lincoln for the first time. The officers had a well written agenda and each had a part to talk about. Everyone was welcoming and I really enjoyed my club visit, playing ice breakers and talking to everyone. This club is definitely fun, but they also get the work done. Good job, guys! !


Peninsula High School

May 24, Street Scramble at Skansie Brother's Park to help kids build stomp rockets. May 28, made posters at PHS for "pony up against cancer.

Wilson High School May 17th, volunteered at the March of Dimes and also raised $300.

Foss High School Tuyet-Nhi not only attended all of the meetings, but also went to almost every event that was held this month! She is dedicated, hard working, and is helpful to the club and especially to the president, Jackie. Overall, she is a very pleasant gal!
