Pop Messe is back!

The Pop Messe festival will once again conquer the Za Lužánkami area, where it will spread out one outdoor and three indoor stages.

On July 28 and 29, the progressive festival will host performers such as Young Fathers, Spiritualized, Hudson Mohawke, Gilla Band, Max Cooper, Tommy Cash, Lankum, Kokoko, Panda Bear & Sonic Boom, Clark, Ventolin, Mareux, Annet X, Kode9, Tim Reaper,

Fvck Kvlt, Berlin Manson, Kalle, Sunnbrella and many more. This year’s edition will once again offer a rich and varied line-up in terms of genres.

Fans of electro as well as guitar music and hip hop will be in for a treat.

Breathtaking Salome at the Janáček Theatre

Expressive, short and shocking, this is how one could briefly describe Strauss’s opera Salome. At the same time, the work, full of powerful, dramatic music and rich orchestral colours, became a worldwide sensation and rightly remains so.

The production is directed by one of the best Czech directors, David Radok After a brilliant production of Britten’s Peter Grimes in the 2021/22 season, he returned newly, Dragan Stojćevski as set designer to direct the fifth production for Janáček opera company. Just like the world premiere, this time it is also a sensation.
