By Czech law, insurance companies are obliged to find you a doctor. Often, they avoid this responsibility by providing you with a list of possibilities for you to call. That is not enough. Every summer, the Brno Expat Centre secures an invitation to explore a usually closed-door part of Brno. This July, we invite you for an excursion of the Brno lake shipyard, and the ‘steamboats’ that sail across the waves in summer.

Afterwards, we’ll board one of the ships for a short sailing to a grassy beach where we’ll enjoy our picnic and pleasant company. Bring a blanket and whatever you’d like to eat or drink and share with others. Our July picnics are usually a nice opportunity to meet other expats at a time when Brno runs at a calmer, holiday pace.
