World seen through art
July and August in Kino Art will bring two open air cinemas! You can enjoy a movie under the stars in the area of Nová Zbrojovka and in the beautiful garden of Villa Löw-Beer.
Summer Cinema Nová Zbrojovka screens every day and, because of the unique DCI technology, is the only open air cinema in Brno which can show film premieres. Open air cinema in the garden of Villa Löw-Beer screens every friday and brings mostly art films and older hits. Summer holidays also bring a special festival in Kino Art called Summer in Art. Festival offers older movies, which you might have missed in the cinemas, for a reduced price.

Ancient Gothic Manuscripts On Display at Špilberk Castle
The exhibition “Eliška Rejčka: Gift from the Middle Ages”, started in June and will last until 20 August. The manuscripts which are shown were bought by Eliška Rejčka at her own expense, and dedicated to the Cistercian convent in Staré Brno, which marks its 700th anniversary this year.
