There were 211 homes sold in September….31% higher than September 2019! Our YTD sales are now off by 2%, down from the 6% last month. The first of the month was stronger than the second half of the month in sales.
Inventory continues to be low, down 36% from a year ago. There are now 406 homes on the market in The Woodlands. Last year at this time we had 632 homes on the market.
Overall, our months of inventory is at 2.5 months, a little less than last month, and about 1.5 months lower than a year ago. This is a very healthy market for sellers and a challenging market for buyers trying to find homes!
Most price ranges are a seller’s market until you reach about $800’s and 900’s which are pretty balanced and anything higher they switch to a buyer’s market.
