Principal of Corso: Connecting the inner part of the city to the gates (Territory Outside the Ancient City)

Community

Urban Concept

The proposal aims to connect the different functions surrounding the site, by creating filter spaces and areas which lead into the main volume of the school. Marking the intersection of different flows, on one side it’s a communal flow which consists of community based functions, while on the other side its private school functions that follow the program needed. Regarding the volume, it starts out with using the existing ground drop that marks the foundation of the previous building, to create an outdoor auditorium and multiunctional space. The two volumes developed follow the exisiting axis marked by the nursery on the right and the underground drop on the left. These volumes create a path in between which marks the start of the flow mentioned before.

Allignment with the surrounding Nursery Block and the exisi�ng founda�on of the previous school.

Building crea�ng with giving a spacing between both elements for flow con�nua�on.

For more flow and passage ways from different part of the plots, paths are subtracted from the exisi�ng block.
