The risks of basing digital health strategy on industry hype and alluring prototypes The World Health Organisation recently hosted a landmark “Symposium on The Future of Digital Health” (Copenhagen, February 6-8th 2019), which was attended by healthcare leaders, innovators and analysts from across the European Region. Professor Claudia Pagliari, Director of Global eHealth at the University of Edinburgh, spoke in a plenary session entitled “Leaders of the Future – political, economic and ethical governance for digital health”.
