Arrive Alive Suitable for Year 6 Pupils A fun, engaging and memorable workshop which uses an interactive game show format to explore a variety of Road Safety choices. The perfect transition workshop, helping Year 6 children prepare for their move to Secondary School. ‘Luke Bothways’ and ‘Wanda Beseen’ will lead the two teams of children through question and answer rounds, role play and observation based activity, focusing on Road Safety and sustainable travel.
During the session the pupils consider a variety of issues relating to road safety practice including: finding safe places to cross distractions that could hinder safe crossing the effect of peer pressure when making safe choices in road safety assessing the risks and hazards involved when crossing the road and how these can be minimised promoting the safe use of public transport.
