Director of External Relations Role Overview The responsibility of the Director of External Relations is to generate contacts through networking events and transfer those contacts to the Incoming Exchange (ICX) team. This can be done through the following tasks: -

Identify all networking events Track attendance to those events Attend networking events him/herself Manage public relation representatives

The Director of External Relations is also required to represent AIESEC Ottawa in professional manners to increase our publicity and presence within Ottawa’s local business community.

Main Responsibilities -

Drive the External Relations team to reach the set goals Work closely with ICX portfolio Attendance at director retreats and portfolio retreat Personal ownership of and commitment to the LC vision and goals Ability to be self-motivated and to motivate others Identify and attend networking events Track attendance and manage public relation representatives Make calls and attend meetings with people met at networking events if there is a strong connection

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) -

Attendance of members at networking events Contacts transferred to the ICX sales team Meeting booked

Team Minimums -

Attend 90% of General Assemblies and team meetings Participate in trainings Communicate, answer texts, emails, and any other communication mediums within 24 hours Attend at least 2 socials Meet deadlines and follow guidelines
