Exchange Participant Manager Exchange participant managers are the backbone of AIESEC. They are responsible for matching exchange participants with an opportunity which suits them as well as mentoring them during their adventure abroad. The quality of your work as an EPM directly contributes to the quality and image of AIESEC. Therefore, EPMs must have a deep sense of responsibility. Because it is a role which requires you to be in constant contact with cultures abroad, cultural sensitivity and travel experience is a must!
Role Overview This role is an opportunity to develop their "people" skills, as it is the EPM's job to be able to quickly assess the needs of EPs and determine the best ways to help them meet these needs. You will also learn interview skills, as you will be expected to interview potential EPs. You will also gain skills and experience in sales because you will be expected to sell the AIESEC experience to people who are interested through consultation sessions (training will be provided as well). Last but not least, you will be able to see and understand the world thanks to the huge AIESEC network, with which you will expected to interact with!
Main responsibilities -
Assist Exchange Participants in finding opportunities abroad Mentor Exchange Participants during their adventure abroad Help Exchange Participants reintegrate Interview potential Exchange Participants Sell AIESEC exchanges to potential Exchange Participants through consultation periods Understand the use of the various AIESEC database systems (EXPA, OP)

Number of EPs raised Number of EPs matched Number of people attending consultations Number of people deciding to sign up for an interview following a consultation
Minimum requirements -
Time commitment of 5-10 hours per week (Depending on efficiency and time of the year) Hold one 90-minute consultation session every week at the AIESEC training Call leads who are interested in going on an exchange with AIESEC Book one meeting with a local committee abroad every month Specialize in one of AIESEC Ottawa's 6 subproducts
