Sonam Kapoor becomes Dior ambassador for collections dreamed up by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
“A multi-talented personality, the actress, producer and fashion icon henceforth embodies the audacity, grace and elegance of Dior style, a femininity constantly reinvented. More than ever, this unique alliance celebrates the powerful cultural ties that have united Dior and India since the very beginning of the House,” Dior said.
Sonam Kapoor has attended numerous Dior runway shows across the world and attended events in the brand’s designs. As Dior’s global brand ambassador, Kapoor will continue to support the label and harness her extensive fan base to connect with shoppers across India and beyond.
“Each of their collections presents a truly unique vision with intricate craftsmanship, celebrating heritage in a way that deeply resonates with my own sense of style,” Sonam Kapoor told the Press Trust of India. “This partnership is another step in the beautiful cultural synergy that has connected Dior and India over the years, and I’m excited to see where we take it next.”
Sonam Kapoor is the daughter of actor and producer Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, a costume designer and former model.
Her appearance at the Dior ready-to-wear show in September generated a total media impact value of $2.7 million, according to Launchmetrics. Dior once again won Paris Fashion Week with a total MIV of $82.7 million, the data research and insights company said.
India’s luxury market is the fastest growing in Asia, and brands are vying to sign local faces. Bulgari has snapped up Priyanka Chopra, Louis Vuitton works with Deepika Padukone, and Tiffany & Co. has joined forces with Ranveer Singh.
“It’s an honour to be a part of Dior’s story as they continue to push the boundaries and redefine creativity and elegance in the world of fashion. Clearwater & Forbes Plunkett are through the final of the Julio Novillo Astrada-Catamarca Cup
Kielder Agro Group is the winner of this year’s Hublot Polo Gold Cup in Gstaad. Polo was a sport of strategy, combat, and patience: and Britain’s Max Charlton proved to be the strongest at this game. All the talent of Raul Laplacette could do nothing about it, despite being named best player of the match.
It was a defensive final which, naturally, concluded with a low score of 6-5. It was unbearable suspense until the end, with each team returning goals blow for blow. With only two minutes left on the clock, a remarkable individual play by Raul Laplacette leveled the score once again, and with mere seconds to go, Max Charlton took advantage of another 60-yard penalty. It was the goal that ultimately determined the match.
“Yes, it was a tough fight played out on penalties,” the Briton admitted. “We won today because we were a little bit luckier than Gstaad Palace since both teams were on equal footing. But I’m particularly pleased to have won here, for Phillipp [Müller, his captain]. It’s amazing!”
The opening match, the final for third place, was clinched by French captain François Okala’s team, donning the distinctive J.Safra Sarasin colors, after an action-packed second chukker.
Argentinian handicap 6 Horacio Fernandez Llorente led the charge, capturing four goals. The “blues” dominated the match from start to finish, after measuring up the pitch they only discovered last Thursday.
“Actually…not quite,” Tete Fanelli was keen to point out. “This is the third time I’ve played here. I’ve been a finalist twice before but lost on both occasions. I thought this would be my year, so I’m not completely satisfied with third place. That doesn’t stop me from enjoying this tournament enormously—the organization, the environment, the atmosphere. So I’m looking forward to coming back here and leaving with the watch!”
So, maybe next year from August 21-24. The date has already been set for this one-of-a-kind tournament, whose teams continuously express their satisfaction before they return home. This edition was no exception, an extraordinary celebration of polo that couldn’t possibly be spoiled by a little cold on Sunday.
Guards Polo Club and La Martina create winning formula at La Aguada
The La Martina team won the second edition of the La Martina Guards Polo Club Challenge in Argentina this week. Hosted by the Novillo Astrada family at the La Aguada estancia in Open Door, all three teams featured playing members of Guards Polo Club alongside La Martina’s renowned ambassadors and members of the talented Novillo Astrada family. It was played in the usual, round robin format, creating a competitive yet friendly atmosphere.
The green-shirted La Martina team came out best, winning both of their contests. A key member of this squad was Lynly Fong, playing in this competition for the first time. She was later rewarded with the Most Valuable Player prize. Her son, Jed, also making his debut, said post-match: “My mum has been playing tournaments here since I was about 10 and so it was nice to finally be allowed to play on these fields too! The grounds here are amazing and it’s a gorgeous place so it’s fun to play a nice tournament. Winning today is just a bonus.”
Dino Dhankhar, one of La Martina’s newest ambassadors, featured strongly for the Guards Polo Club team, which also featured Club patrons Clive Reid and Elodie Avarguez . Also playing in this competition for the first time, Dino was delighted to head home with the coveted La Martina Fair Play Award. “I had a fun, fun time here and am looking forward to coming back every year,” he said. “It is an amazing feeling for any polo player to play in Argentina and it is a delight to play with the Novillo Astrada brothers who have been the best in the world for a long time. This tournament has been a great experience and great exposure for me.”
Adrian Simonetti, President of La Martina, echoed James’s words. “This tournament provides us with the very welcome opportunity to bring together our friends at La Aguada and Guards Polo Club in a celebration of these long-standing partnerships. It is a pleasure to be able to organise this for the second consecutive year and be back at La Aguada, which is like a second home to us. Thank you as always to the Novillo Astrada family for its incredibly warm hospitality and to Guards Polo Club for its enthusiastic support and for making the trip out to Argentina. His contribution to the design of sustainable construction not only inspires his industry, but also makes a significant contribution to overcoming global environmental and climate challenges.
Matteo Thun is an internationally renowned architect and designer known for his pioneering approaches to sustainable architecture and ecological design. With his deep commitment to environmental awareness, material innovation and circular construction methods, he has established himself as one of the most influential personalities in today’s design world.
Thun studied architecture at the University of Florence and began his career in the design world as a co-founder of the legendary Memphis Group, which revolutionized industrial design in the 1980s. He distinguished himself early on through his creative use of forms and materials, but it was his consistent commitment to sustainable architecture that made him internationally renowned.
In 1984, he founded Matteo Thun & Partners Studio, which focuses on environmentally friendly projects. Thun’s work combines tradition and modernity by incorporating natural materials into innovative design concepts, creating buildings that blend harmoniously into their surroundings.
One of his most important projects in the field of sustainable architecture is the Vigilius Mountain Resort (2003) in South Tyrol. This car-free hotel at 1,500 meters is considered a masterpiece of ecological construction. It was built entirely from sustainable materials such as larch wood and stone and is only accessible by cable car, which minimizes the resort’s ecological footprint. The building is also designed to be energy efficient and uses renewable energy sources.

After introducing its 100 Years of Meisterstück campaign in May with a short film written and directed by award-winning director and screenwriter Wes Anderson, Montblanc delves deeper into its extraordinary world in a series of new campaign visuals. The campaign continues with a series of visuals that pay tribute to the iconic Meisterstück writing instrument’s 100th anniversary and spotlight Montblanc leather pieces from its latest collections.

Tell us about yourself and how you started your career.
After completing my technical training and studying business administration, I began my career at an internationally operating company, where I worked as a manager for over 20 years. There, I focused intensively on planning, system solutions, and the calculation of complex technical systems.
During this time, I had the privilege of meeting many people who all had a deep longing for well-being, charismatic presence, and youthful beauty. They aspired to achieve a personal work-life balance.
In my hometown near Munich, I live surrounded by breathtaking nature that has inspired me since childhood. This unspoiled landscape and its majestic rock formations have awakened my love for nature and my enthusiasm for the healing power of plants.
My desire to create something unique and support people with high-quality products has been my greatest motivation. I wanted to establish a brand that offers luxurious, effective, and sustainable natural cosmetics based on the latest scientific findings.
What motivated you to become an entrepreneur and start your brand?
I wanted to create a brand that not only offers luxury natural cosmetics but also embodies ethical and sustainable values. It was important to me to develop a product line that helps people feel good, care for their skin, and simultaneously supports their daily empowerment. Empowerment is a central aspect of our PURE LIFE biological products.
It means encouraging people to actively take care of their well-being. Our products are designed to pamper the skin while promoting confidence, balance, and inner strength. We want our customers to feel comfortable in their own skin and to unleash their inner power, especially in today’s fast-paced world.
We believe that self-care is a crucial component of a healthy work-life balance. Therefore, our products are designed to be seamlessly integrated into everyday life, providing moments of relaxation and well-being. Natural stone as the perfect aesthetic and design tablecloth for high-end projects. This sums up the impact of this fascinating flat in Malta, where lines and materials dance together thanks to the creativity of the Italian brand Antolini®, a world reference in the field of natural stone design.
With an extraordinary view over the rocky tip of Exiles Bay in Sliema, a town on the eastern coast of the Mediterranean island of Malta, an elegant 400-squaremeter apartment was recently the subject of a radical interior restyling project. This project was curated by Sabrina Soldà of Sap Management, an international procurement company providing turnkey services for the design and renovation of properties, and Keith Pillow, founder of the Maltese architecture firm DAAA Haus.
The landscape surrounding the area, strongly characterized by the warm colors of the island’s traditional limestone which, here, comes together with all the blue shades of the azure sky and the turquoise and deep blues of the Mediterranean – at times streaked by the white ripples of the waves crashing on the coast – is the primary source of inspiration for this refined interior. The undisputed protagonists are wood, for the floors and boiserie, as well as natural stone, used not only for cladding but also to create custommade furnishings, thanks to the workmanship of Marble&Granite Services, a Verona-based company specializing in the supply and custom processing of natural stones.
Even though limestone, a stone which is characteristic of the area but extremely brittle by nature, wasn’t a suitable solution; in choosing the natural stones the designers were drawn to earth tones, preferring shades that allowed visual coherence between the interior and exterior.
As Sabrina Soldà of Sap Management explains, the choice of Antolini® was a completely natural one: "being able to go to the company to personally choose the blocks with the customer was a unique experience, which generated a true appreciation for this brand. Seeing these wonderful stones… it was like entering an art museum. It’s in this moment that one becomes fully aware of how human artworks, created over the centuries, are so deeply indebted to nature, whose colors and shapes we have always tried to imitate."

Following the successful openings of British restaurant Park Corner Brasserie and Mayfair’s newest hotspot drinks destination, Revery, the hotel announces the opening of two new venues: MR PORTER London and Shanghai Me.

Interview with Fiore Cappelletto, Vice President at MCINTOSH GROUP
Tell us a bit about yourself, how did you start your career?
I began my career in communications and advertising in my 20s while completing a bachelor's degree in legal economics at the University of Padova. Although my academic background was in economics, I quickly developed a deep passion for communication and advertising, which naturally steered me toward strategic marketing. After a decade managing clients across various industries at two local communication and advertising agencies, I joined Sonus faber as Marketing Director in 2013. Interestingly, Sonus faber was initially one of my clients, and after a year, I was honored to be invited to join their team.
As my passion for music and the high-end audio industry grew, and as Sonus faber expanded through acquisitions, I transitioned to a group-level role, overseeing global marketing and refining brand communication strategies. In 2017, fueled by a desire to further my expertise, I shifted focus to corporate business development in the automotive sector. This led to the first successful partnerships, subsequently being promoted to General Manager of the newly created automotive business unit, later advancing to Vice President with added responsibilities for the yachting business and a position on the Senior Leadership Team.
Throughout this journey, the McIntosh Group invested in my potential and extended an invaluable opportunity to pursue a two-year Executive MBA at the Technical University of Munich, an experience that prepared me for the journey ahead.
What is one of the key responsibilities of you as Vice President at MCINTOSH GROUP?
My primary responsibility is to nurture and grow our Automotive and Marine business, ensuring we deliver high-performance products and provide robust technical, marketing, and sales support to our partners. At the same time, I work to expand the business by establishing new partnerships, carefully avoiding any potential conflicts to safeguard both our brand equity and that of our partners. My role encompasses defining short- and long-term strategies for the business unit, achieving P&L targets, managing costs and investments, setting and executing effective sales and marketing strategies. I am deeply grateful for the invaluable contributions of our Team —they are the backbone of our success in the automotive and marine sectors. Their expertise, passion, resilience, and unwavering commitment form the foundation of our achievements.
