1987 Leyland Daf Horse Box
Leyland Daf 7.5tonne 1987 Compact short wheel based horse box with aluminium Tristar body. Heartbreaking sale and needing to downsize to a trailer as only one pony and totally wasted. Plated until Dec ‘22 no advisories just a new tyre needed and serviced last summer. The lorry has had extensive welding done on the cab which should be good for years, brakes completely redone including new master cylinder, chassis good and floor solid. Brand new living put in last summer all insulated and lined including large cupboard with saddle racks. Two new heavy duty batteries, large Luton sleeps 3, fully tilting cab, no limiter and lovely light steering, very nippy and turns on a sixpence, runs really well, will carry 2 horses or 3 ponies, herringbone telescopic partitions, they load and travel well. Very sad sale as this was going to be our long term lorry and a lot spent, but being wasted and needs someone to enjoy it. May be interested in a good trailer or p/x. £6,500.

Part/Full Time Groom
Part/Full time groom required for J F Polo Academy. Equine experience is a requirement, but polo grooming lessons provided. The job role includes exercising and caring for a range of polo ponies, assisting with academy activities and grooming at weekend tournaments. Most polo ponies live out so it’s less yard duties and more hands-on grooming and care. No visas or accommodation available but we do offer one horse on DIY and 50% off polo lessons.
