Polo Park Zürich’s purple clad players dominated this year’s French Women’s Open from start to finish with an undefeated road to the Final on Sunday 19 September, where they faced DS Automobile-DS Store Saint Maximin. Faced with the in dominatable Venot sisters, DS Automobile-DS Store Saint Maximin struggled to get themselves into the fray and lost by eight goals overall, with the final score resting on 11-3, with the Venot sisters lifting the trophy for the second year in a row. Elena Venot, the eldest of the sisters and France’s most female player, commented on their performance, “We were under a bit of pressure, but we had already played them in the qualifying round.
