Students of Interior Design at the Faculty of New Media Art can choose one of two specialisations: Interior design and Exhibition design. In both cases, emphasis is placed on the development of knowledge and skills, particularly related to the use of new multimedia technologies in the designer's work. Interior Design programme combines specialist knowledge of construction and interior design techniques with humanistic issues of art and design history as well as computer techniques. The curriculum covers issues such as ergonomics and psychophysiology of vision, technical drawing and building regulations, issues of interior and exhibition design, eco design, human-centred design, as well as general art classes: drawing, painting, sculpture, photography. Our students use the best professional design software, including Autodesk and Maya.
Our graduates receive Bachelor of Arts degree and, as interior designers, can design elements of architectural and public spaces, arrange fair and exhibition spaces and design furniture and interior design elements.
