Propylene and Polymer Price Updates June – Sept-2015
1
Propylene Polypropylene prices gained across Asia during the first four weeks of September 2015. Prices marched higher on the back of firm buying trends witnessed in key markets like China. However, Polypropylene prices in Asia drifted lower during week 5. Prices fell on account of a number of bearish triggers including softer crude and naphtha prices, a plunge in propylene feedstock prices and extremely dull demand trends across Asia, especially in China ahead of the Golden Week holidays from October 1 to October 7, 2015.
