Timber celebrates 20 years of operations

Timber, operating in Brazil, has extensive experience in business and customer service.

Timber, Ponsse’s dealer in Southern Brazil, has operated in the country for 20 years. Established in 2002, Timber’s journey started on a small scale: the company had one old Ford Pampa maintenance vehicle with which it served its customers.

Today, Timber operates in three states, has three offices and delivers comprehensive solutions for cut-to-length harvesting. Timber also represents four other brands. Currently, Timber employs more than 100 people.

CLOSE AND VALUABLE COOPERATION SINCE 2014

Timber started cooperation with Ponsse in 2014, and it acts as Ponsse’s forest machine dealer in three southern states in Brazil.

“Our cooperation with Ponsse has enabled us to deliver comprehensive solutions to forest sector companies,” says Jober Fonseca, director of Timber.

This close cooperation has consisted of the exchange of information and helped to develop Ponsse’s product range based on customers’ practical experiences. For example, the H7 HD Euca harvester head has been specifically developed for customers specialising in debarked eucalyptus.
