OUR SERVICES… OUR ADVANTAGE REGULAR SHIPPING ROUTES Containers: feeder services operated by Unifeeder and BG Freight Line to and from Felixstowe and Rotterdam. RoRo: deep-sea and short-sea services operated by Hoëgh Autoliners and Euro Marine Logistics connect to Europe, the Baltics, Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Asia, the Middle East, South Pacific and North and South America. Ferries: DFDS operates a daily service to Amsterdam providing freight connections to mainland Europe. CARGO HANDLING The Port’s highly skilled workforce has the experience and expertise to efficiently handle the loading and unloading of all vessels regardless of the type of cargo, whilst delivering the highest standard of customer service. STORAGE Heavy duty, hard-standing areas for open storage close to the quayside. High security transit sheds and modern high bay racked warehouses are available on-site. CONNECTIVITY On-site rail terminals connect to the East Coast Mainline. The Port is in close proximity to the main south/north arteries of the A1 and A19 and cross country via the A66 and A69.
TYNE CLEAN ENERGY PARK (TCEP) A fantastic opportunity for renewables companies, providing an infrastructure catering for all renewable energy production needs, with a total of 200 acres of land. VALUE ADDED SERVICES A range of customised services are available, including cargo vanning and devanning, order picking, assembly, blending, packing, labelling sampling and stock management.
