After graduating from Fu-Jen Catholic University, I was working in PAYEASY company, an online marketing department store, for nearly one year. After I graduated I started to work at PayEasy Digital Integration Co. Ltd. My job responsibilities include categorizing the products on the website, information updates, and producing product related materials. Not only have I gained a great deal of practical design experience from my job, but I have also come to realize the important connection between products and visual marketing. This awareness has made me determined to gain more professional knowledge in the graphics and commercial design area.

I firmly believe that every product should express its unique brand personality, and that is why I want to be able to design packaging for a product based on my understanding of its brand and product background. This way, the design will not only adhere to the brand’s concepts but also stand out to consumers leaving them a strong impression. The course provided me a professional knowledge and deeply understanding in packaging design.

Design Concept: I used the arrays of magnetic lines of force emanating from the north and south poles of a magnet to visually represent the Yahoo! search engine categorization service provided to users. In so doing, a powerful graphical representation of the Yahoo! search engine’s performance is created.

MARS FOODS, INC.(Cesar) This design was drawn up on behalf of Mars, a dogfood company, for a public relations activity. My primary responsibility was to design content such as direct mail, tent cards, and cardboard cutouts. Because people’s professional lives are so hectic nowadays, they and their pets lack the free time and the space to have fun and frolic about. I therefore specially designed a new activity for dogs and their owners. I encouraged owners to bring out their pets and participate in an activity specially arranged for them both.
Direct Mail Design Concept: The main design elements were parkland, sunlight, blue skies,and a frolicking dog. The visual aesthetic communicates the owner and his pet enjoying a relaxing outing under beautiful sunlight.

Design Concept: City Café positions itself across the whole city as one’s personal coffee shop. Hence I strove to use this design concept as my departure point. When designing the body of the cup, I inputted elements evocative of the city such as a multitude of neighboring buildings and individual “small budding branches of love” which grow above the city. This communicates the notion that the city is rendered warmer and pleasanter by the existence of City Café.

Design Concept: On Halloween, children put on ghost and fairy costumes, ring neighborhood doorbells and utter the traditional challenge: “Trick-or-treat?” Therefore, I used trick-or-treat as the inspiration for my design concepts. On the scary eve of Halloween, everyone can knock on the great front door of City Café and demand a cup of delight.

12th Graduation Exhibition, Department of Advertising Advertiser: PLAZA During my senior year graduation exhibition, my project team signed a cooperation contract with the PLAZA Corporation. We signed a one-year contract and the content we cooperated on included marketing proposal projects and city survey proposals. In the following I outline the related products emerging from our projects.
Design Concept: Because PLAZA positions itself as an aggregator of the latest and most fashionable products from around the world, this image poster aims, through integrating flags together with a variety of fashionable products from around the world, to generate a visual effect which communicates to consumers the concept that all the world’s fashionable products can be found at PLAZA.

Design Concept: In Taiwan, PLAZA’s visual aesthetic is dominated by pink. As a result, I wanted to design a website also dominated by the color pink. Through consistent employment of this color, I wanted Taiwan consumers, for whom this is a new brand, to be left with a memorable and distinctive impressionof it. Additionally, when designing the website’s front page, I drew furnishingsand layout that were identical with those of the real-world store.

British Peas Packaging Brief overview: The challenge is to design luxury packaging for peas by transposing signifiers of luxury brands to an everyday commodity. This should enable the retailer to charge a higher price.
Design Concept: By the transparent window to show peas inside, which can enhance consumer confidence in the product. The streamline or curved pattern with golden colour conveys the meaning of luxury. The black colour, which creates classic and luxury connotations, occupies over half of the packaging. This demonstrates how colour can influence the impression of a retail product.

Logo Design Concept : “Do it Green�, which means grow your own is green thinking! you can grow it green, and eat it green! The gardening tools- spading fork is used to symbolise tableware- fork. By this way to communicate about the benefit of grow your own food, which means eating healthily. The circle plate to represent it is a green meal after you growing your own food. The brown colour represent soil and natural.

Smart Medical Packaging Brief overview: The work is to suppose a hypothesis that is about the new knowledge in terms of packaging design. Through deeply research and analysis in the potential new knowledge that can develop the packaging design innovation further. Hypothesis: Smart packaging can provide a range of benefits to consumers that impact on retail choices.
Design Concept: The medication blister packaging can transmit data by the electronic chip material in the lidding. It also has the time recording function, which can avoid consumers misusing drugs and medication adherence. The medication manufactures provide Apps for consumers to download to their smart phone, the service offer consumers medication information, and store personal case history.

When scanning the barcode, the medication information will be sent to consumers mobile phone. The information is about the medicine name, dosage, symptons, and frequency.
The Apps automatically store the drugs inforamtion and the systematic information may be useful for doctor or pharmacist to diagnose the patients conditions.
