Students earning college credit while in high school, through programs such as Early College or Running Start, are considered first years for admission purposes. FIRST YEAR Graduate from high school with a cumulative unweighted GPA of at least 2.5 and earn grades of C- or better in the following areas: English/Language Arts: 4 units Math: 3 units including Algebra II Science: 3 units Social Studies: 3 units Oregon high school graduates only: 2 units of the same second language

OPPORTUNITY AT YOUR DOORSTEP pdx.edu/housing First year students live in first year-only floors in Broadway and Ondine. Transfer and continuing students can live in any of our eight residence halls. Students admitted to the Honors College have the option to live in Stephen Epler in an honorsspecific community. We’re located in southwest Portland, which means when you live on campus, you’ll be immersed into the city center. Students are not required to live on campus. Apply by June 15 for a guaranteed spot.
