BRIEF BAST HYPOTHETICAL CITY Inspired by nine housing morphologies – between linear and tower blocks – thought and shaped to be detached from the city, these proposals aim to revise preconceived ideas on consolidated cities. Architectures as urban tools: taking advantage of the characteristics of each morphology and giving it an infrastructural use, architecture can act and transform the complexities – fluxes, synergies and relationships – of these cities. Four couples of situations were considered. Porto and Toulouse were the stage to develop a statement toward the possibilities, utopias and dystopias, on transforming the present reality through hypothetical projects.
