Three leading luxury liners have given Sydney the flick and are instead basing at Portside Wharf this winter, bringing with them an additional 39,000 passengers. The Sea Princess, Pacific Dawn and Pacific Jewel have called Portside Wharf home during the past few months and we’ll have more new ships to welcome come the end of the year with another two joining the queue!

BYBLOS SET TO RELAUNCH Byblos will reopen its doors on August 15 after a stylish makeover that will see the popular bar and restaurant looking better than ever. As part of the renovations, the dining area has been expanded and will now seat up to 100 people so there’s plenty of space for you to come in and enjoy the new-look Byblos.
MENU LAUNCH AT MöVENPICK Mövenpick Portside Wharf will be abuzz with ice-cream fans and connoisseurs on August 14 when the boutique ice-cream parlour launches the brand’s new menu. BYBLOS PUNCHES OUT THE COMPETITION Byblos barman Adam Meredith is one of 11 finalists flying to Vanuatu this month to compete in the finals of the Hendricks Hot Gin Punch competition. Beating several thousand entrants across Australia and New Zealand, Adam’s winning punch featured Ruby port, beetroot, mango, lemon, hibiscus and rose tea, ginger, coriander and of course, Hendricks gin. Adam will now use native ingredients from Vanuatu to create his final punch which will hopefully win him the top prize of a trip to London Cocktail Week. If you want to try Adam’s creation entitled ‘Hipsters Ruin Everything’, here’s what you need...
