PORTSIDE WHARF MORE THAN $13.5 MILLION OF APARTMENTS HAVE BEEN SNAPPED UP AT BROOKFIELD RESIDENTIAL PROPERTIES’ LINK AT PORTSIDE WHARF IN LESS THAN NINE MONTHS, WITH THE BUILDING NOW COMPLETELY SOLD OUT AHEAD OF COMPLETION. In total, 32 one bedroom apartments have sold since Link was launched to the market, with the four level building on track to be finished by early next year. Link sits at the entrance to the retail and residential precinct in Hamilton and features 522sqm of retail space on the ground floor. Brookfield Residential Properties Regional Director Lee Butterworth said Link had predominately appealed to investors and first home buyers. “Link presented the perfect opportunity for entry level buyers to secure a spot at Portside Wharf and enjoy the luxury lifestyle that comes with living atop a lively retail precinct,” he said. “Savvy investors were also quick to move, snapping up the apartments in a matter of months to reap the financial benefits of providing renters a space with restaurants, boutique fashion and entertainment on their doorstep. “The success of this project shows the strength of the market in general, and in particular, of the market at Portside Wharf.”
Brookfield Residential Properties has opened its first display apartment at Pinnacle at Portside Wharf, as construction reaches the fourteenth level of the luxury riverfront apartment building. Styled by Coco Republic Interior Design, the display is situated on the recently completed second level, with the remainder of the 15-storey building set for completion early next year. Coco Republic senior interior designer Polly Gillman said the display had been designed in-line with the riverside lifestyle on offer in the sophisticated Portside Wharf precinct. “The apartment has a captivating riverfront location and stunning city views so we wanted to create a contemporary space with classic highlights that would complement this,” she said. “To emphasise the serene, natural landscape, a neutral colour palette has been used with accessories introduced to add splashes of colour. “The display has been designed with versatility in mind, particularly when selecting furnishings, so that a buyer could easily envisage themselves in the apartment once they’ve added their own style. “Particular attention was paid to the layout of key furniture settings to maximise the sense of space while blending outdoor with interior for entertaining
