KISS GOODBYE TO MS Gusto da Gianni is holding a glamorous Kiss Goodbye to MS Dinner, hosted by Aegis Media on Friday, May 18. CIRQUE DU SOLEIL Roll up, roll up, the circus is coming to town. But not just any circus, the world famous Cirque du Soleil will be at Northshore Hamilton from July 14 to August 19 with their new show OVO – a teaming world of insects. The big top will be set up at Northshore Riverside Park, making Portside Wharf the ideal port of call for all your pre and post celebrations. Restaurants across the precinct are getting Cirque fever and have come up with special desserts, cocktails and deals for the lucky ones who hold a circus ticket. JAVIER’S TABLE AT MODA EVENTS PORTSIDE – AUGUST 8 The date is now set and tickets are selling for Moda Events’ event of the year, Javier’s Table. On Wednesday, August 8, Group Executive Chef, Javier Codina, will be cooking up a storm in this Spanish inspired banquet that will include food, wine, cooking displays and entertainment. JETTS FITNESS HAMILTON – GET FIT FOR A CAUSE Get a free health check, and support the National Heart Foundation in the process, at Jetts Fitness Open Day on Saturday, May 19. Jetts Fitness Hamilton at Portside Wharf is throwing open its doors for the Jetts Fitness fundraiser, which raised more than $30,000 nationally for the charity last October. The Open Day will include free health assessments, group fitness, personal training sessions, health supplements and food and entertainment. It will run from 9am to 4pm, with $10 from each membership signed on the day going to the National Heart Foundation. Those who sign up on the day will also receive a $99 discount on the annual membership fee and two free personal training sessions!

DINING BYBLOS LAUNCHES NEW MENU
Byblos has gone rustic this winter, with new clay crockery and a new menu on offer. With more than 30 modern Lebanese-style dishes you’ll be spoilt for choice. Try the Moghrabieh – a rustic staple meal combining pearl cous cous and chick peas, slow cooked and mixed with onion, lamb and a traditional gravy then topped with chicken. Mmmmmm.
