LIVIN Portside Wharf has sold more than $8 million of apartments at the latest residential stage at Promenade in recent weeks, and developers Brookfield Residential Properties are confident strong sales will continue over the next few months. Promenade Hamilton Apartments, which is more than 80 percent sold, features 172 one, two and three-bedroom apartments over 15 levels. Fourteen apartments have sold since October, bringing total sales at Promenade to more than $77 million. Brookfield Residential Properties National Director, Phil Leahy says forward thinking purchasers are getting in early, with major development set take to place over the coming years as part of the Northshore Hamilton project. “Purchasers want to be part of Portside Wharf and its range of restaurants, cafes, shops and entertainment, as the opportunity to live in a masterplanned community like this, that features such an extensive mix of amenities, is rare, especially along river frontage,” he said. “Savvy purchasers have done their research and can see the growth that will take place over the coming years and they want to capitalise on that growth and be part of this major development from the onset.”
